Endia is a special, highly complex, oral paste for dogs and cats with diarrhea. It binds harmful substances, protects the intestinal mucosa, replaces electrolyte and energy loss caused by diarrhea, as well as beneficial intestinal bacteria.
Composition:
- Montmorillonite, prebiotics (fructo-oligosaccharide), probiotics (Enterococcus faecium lactic acid-producing bacteria: 5.5×108 CFU/l), dextrose, sorbitol, sodium chloride, sodium propionate, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride, carob flour , xanthan gum, active carbon, sorbic acid, flavoring.
- Endia's special active ingredient is montmorillonite, which, thanks to its special structure, has a huge surface area and absorption capacity. It detoxifies and protects the intestinal system, as it coats the intestinal mucosa and binds harmful substances (e.g. enzymes, viruses, bacterial toxins). Its ability to bind harmful substances is 15 times greater than that of the widely used kaolin. Montmorillonite prevents mucosal damage during indigestion by protecting the mucous membrane and soothing the intestines.
- Enterococcus faecium lactic acid-producing bacteria (probiotics) reduce the amount of pathogenic bacteria and viruses in the intestinal tract and increase the body's resistance to pathogens.
- Fructo-oligosaccharides (prebiotics) are natural nutrients that are not affected by digestive enzymes in the upper part of the gastrointestinal tract and reach the large intestine unchanged, where they stimulate the growth of beneficial intestinal bacteria (probiotics).
- In addition, prebiotics prevent pathogenic bacteria from adhering to the intestinal wall and promote the absorption of certain minerals and trace elements.
- Probiotics and prebiotics stabilize the intestinal flora, thus reducing the severity and duration of diarrheal diseases, and in the case of antibiotic treatment, the frequency of intestinal side effects decreases.
- Activated charcoal is produced from coconut shell, which is the most important natural absorbent known today, so it can be used very well to treat diarrhea, binds bacteria, toxins and protects the intestinal tract.
- Dextrose is an immediately usable energy source, prevents the drop in blood sugar level and minimizes the energy deficiency of fasting animals.
- Sorbitol promotes the breakdown of fatty acids, the formation of bile acids and the production of digestive enzymes, and enhances the absorption of vitamins and nutrients.
- Carob flour exerts its beneficial effects through its high fiber, tannin and polyphenol content, as well as its low protein and fat content. It also contains galactomannan, which can bind 40 times its dry weight.
- Through the ions that make them up, electrolytes help ensure the balance of the animal's acid-base balance. In case of extreme water and electrolyte loss (e.g. diseases associated with diarrhea), it is necessary to replace these substances in an appropriate form to ensure regeneration.
